When it comes to business and manpower planning, 80% of the respondents indicated that they consider the topic important.
The three benefits that businesses in Aruba perceive as being most valuable to millennial employee(s) are:
- Flexible working arrangements
- Opportunity for career progression
- Excellent training/development programs
When asked about the bottlenecks when hiring millennials, the following where indicated:
- Lack of loyalty
- Difference in communication style
- Unrealistic demand for growth and development
Businesses indicated that they would most likely hire millennials for the position(s): IT, Innovation and Sales & Marketing. Furthermore, they indicated to value the skills -creative thinking, leadership and analytical skills of the millennials.

Lastly, 60% of the respondents indicated that they are planning to implement changes to accommodate the new generation, while 40% indicated that they expect the generation to fit into existing company culture.
