Job Description
In the role of Head of Organizational Development, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of Organizational Development, Human Resources and Learning & Development within the organization. You play a pivotal role in developing and implementing OD&HR strategies that align with the company’s goals and values, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic OD, HR, and L&D initiatives that enhance employee engagement, performance and retention.
- Lead an administrative and advisory team in delivering effective talent acquisition, onboarding, training, performance management and employee relations programs.
- Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategies with overall business goals and objectives.
- Play a critical role in managing organizational change by developing communication plans, assessing potential impacts on the workforce and helping employees adapt to changes.
- Oversee administrative processes, including payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collect and analyze relevant data (internally and externally) to identify trends, provide insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and facilitate training and development programs that align with the organization’s needs.
- Lead team members, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (8+ years) in progressively responsible HR leadership roles.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
- Knowledge and experience with the implementation of HR instruments and HR systems.
- Experience with organizational-wide change management is a plus.
- Experience with project management
- Experience in designing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive change and innovation.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written in Dutch, English and Papiamento.
