Head of Organizational Development

For a 'Staats NV' we are looking for an experienced Head of Organizational Development to assist in driving strategic initiatives and support employees' professional development.

Job Description

In the role of Head of Organizational Development, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of Organizational Development, Human Resources and Learning & Development within the organization. You play a pivotal role in developing and implementing OD&HR strategies that align with the company’s goals and values, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic OD, HR, and L&D initiatives that enhance employee engagement, performance and retention.
  • Lead an administrative and advisory team in delivering effective talent acquisition, onboarding, training, performance management and employee relations programs.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategies with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Play a critical role in managing organizational change by developing communication plans, assessing potential impacts on the workforce and helping employees adapt to changes.
  • Oversee administrative processes, including payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collect and analyze relevant data (internally and externally) to identify trends, provide insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and facilitate training and development programs that align with the organization’s needs.
  • Lead team members, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in progressively responsible HR leadership roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
  • Knowledge and experience with the implementation of HR instruments and HR systems.
  • Experience with organizational-wide change management is a plus.
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience in designing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive change and innovation.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written in Dutch, English and Papiamento.
