Job Description
The Nursery Admin. Support is responsible for timely and accurate administrative processing of all Purchase Orders with the supplier. He/she helps maintain an inventory system that is accurate and current, assuring high level of service to the internal clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Control if order confirmation and/or invoices are correct based on delivered product and quantities.
- Prepare Edit/Check List timely in order to make the necessary calculations before delivery of order.
- Receive the Check List from the supplier and control the product and quantities with the invoice. Report differences to the supervisor.
- Communicate timely and accurately with Sales, Nursery and Accounting department regarding updates and process of order.
- Communicate with the local cargo agency and international consolidation agents regarding the estimate date of delivery of the order.
- Maintain an organized and updated file of all correspondence with the supplier regarding product catalog, order and claims.
Requirements
- Min. MBO degree (office administration) or MAVO degree with 2 years experience working in purchasing or logistics
- Basic knowledge and understanding of merchandise flow and related documentation
- Good general ability to work with computer programs (Word, Excel and database)
- Organized with a high level of accuracy
- Flexible
- Customer and service oriented
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Papiamento, English, Spanish and Dutch.
