Senior Finance Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Officer to contribute to the ongoing success of our client.

Job Description

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee the finance team to streamline processes, improve financial efficiency, and implement best practices.
  • Mentor and guide (junior) finance team members, fostering their professional development and growth.
  • Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Participate in financial planning and strategy meetings, contributing insights and expertise to aid in achieving company objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Officer or similar role, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior finance position.
  • Preferable experience in insurance administrative environment.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Excel and QuickBooks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
