Senior Finance Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Officer to contribute to the ongoing success of our client.

Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Oversee the finance team to streamline processes, improve financial efficiency, and implement best practices.
Mentor and guide (junior) finance team members, fostering their professional development and growth.
Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Participate in financial planning and strategy meetings, contributing insights and expertise to aid in achieving company objectives.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Proven experience as a Finance Officer or similar role, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior finance position.
Preferable experience in insurance administrative environment.
Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Excel and QuickBooks.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
