We are looking for an Application & Process Engineer who will support management in shaping, implementing, and continuously improving the ICT landscape. In this role, you play a key part in ensuring reliable, secure, and future-proof applications and information systems that support business processes.
Job Description
- Support management in developing and implementing ICT policy, translating it into practical guidelines and solutions.
- Provide advice on applications and information systems, considering business processes, security, and financial feasibility.
- Integrate user and third-party requirements within existing ICT and SCADA environments and resolve performance and usage issues.
- Safeguard the integrity, security, and reliability of systems in collaboration with Information Security.
- Advise on the acquisition and maintenance of ICT solutions and contribute to training and business continuity planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Application Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- Strong knowledge and proven expertise within the ICT domain.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch, English, Papiamento, and Spanish.
- Customer-focused and service-oriented, with the ability to translate user needs into effective and sustainable ICT solutions.
- Proactive and initiative-driven, able to identify opportunities and anticipate challenges.
- Strong team player, capable of collaborating effectively with internal teams, management, and external stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex technical issues.
- High sense of responsibility and ownership.
