Job Description
The Corporate Secretary is responsible for providing high-level organizational and administrative support to the Managing Directors and the Supervisory Board. In this role, you will facilitate efficient decision-making, ensure governance processes are adhered to and act as a key liaison between stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate board and management meetings, including agenda preparation, minutes taking, and follow-up on action items.
- Maintain corporate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of corporate and commercial contracts.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing corporate documents, policies, and procedures to support operational efficiency.
- Support the corporate strategic objective and governance frameworks, ensuring the company meets its legal and regulatory obligations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and sales, to ensure smooth communication and process alignment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for corporate governance-related queries and liaise with external stakeholders as needed.
- Provide support to public relations and communication efforts, including the review of press releases and external communications.
Requirements
- Min. bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, or a related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a management support role.
- Knowledgeable on aspects of corporate governance in organizations supervised by financial regulatory body.
- Strong corporate sensitivity to effectively communicate and engage with different stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English.
