The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall performance, leadership, and growth of a multi-location auto parts business. This role oversees all store operations, people management, sales performance, inventory control, and customer experience across multiple locations.

The GM establishes standard for operational excellence, builds and develops the teams, and ensures each location meets financial, operational, and service goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Drive operational performance by setting and achieving KPIs and business objectives.
- Analyze sales and financial results to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase sales, customer engagement, and profitability, including marketing initiatives.
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience and act as the senior escalation point for service issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key commercial customers, vendors, and suppliers in collaboration with executive leadership.
- Oversee facilities, vehicles, and equipment to ensure safety, organization, and operational standards.
- Lead, develop, and hold teams accountable, ensuring effective HR processes and employee training.
- Align operational execution with executive leadership and overall company strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a management role, preferably within the automotive or auto parts industry.
- Strong working knowledge of automotive parts, systems, and applications.
- Able to translate technical knowledge into operational and commercial results.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills, able to interpret sales and financial data.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel for training and business-related activities.
