Logistics Manager

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead and optimize our client's logistics operations. This role requires a strong leader with expertise in supply chain management and a focus on continuous improvement.

Job Description

The Logistics Manager is responsible for leading the logistics department, purchasing, inventory, shipments and warehouse management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage logistics processes, including procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Implement lean concepts to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.
  • Monitor and analyze key logistics KPIs such as inventory management and lead times.
  • Lead and mentor a logistics team, driving professional development and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project coordinators to manage project-specific logistics.
  • Maintain and improve ERP systems and logistics automation.
  • Develop and manage inventory and procurement strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and promote safety and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics or a related field (HBO level).
  • 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced spreadsheet/database skills.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of lean concepts and logistics automation.
  • Excellent written and spoken Dutch and English; Spanish and Papiamento are a plus.
  • Flexible, service-oriented, and stress-resilient, with a customer-first mindset.
