Job Description
As the Operations Manager, you oversee the execution of our core activities and ensure smooth operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspire, mentor, and develop a diverse team of employees, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Act as an initiator, building respect and strong relationships through effective communication and decision-making.
- Oversee and optimize Parts, Service, Bodyshop, and After-Sales operations to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Lead stock management, shipping, and receiving activities with a focus on precision and timely delivery.
- Monitor sales performance, conduct market surveys, and implement strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, governance frameworks, and safety standards across all departments.
- Conduct regular audits, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Identify growth opportunities and implement strategies for ongoing enhancement of operations and services.
- Collaborate on budgeting, pricing strategies, and market analysis to strengthen competitiveness and profitability.
- Develop and implement initiatives to boost customer retention, satisfaction, and loyalty.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Operations or a related field.
- Min. 5 years’ experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of improving processes and achieving operational efficiency.
- Background in operations management within the automotive sector is a plus, with a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills to effectively manage a team and drive results.
- Ability to oversee multiple departments, prioritize tasks efficiently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English and Papiamento, Spanish and Dutch are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies, embrace industry changes, and grow within the role.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively with other departments to achieve company goals.
