We are seeking a dynamic Finance & Operations Manager who possesses an in-depth understanding of accounting principles and exceptional organizational abilities. This role requires a proactive and motivated individual capable of driving financial strategy and operational efficiency.
Job Description
As the Finance & Operations Manager you are responsible for:
- Managing the Finance and Collections Departments, ensuring seamless operations and high performance.
- Working in close liaison with the finance departments in Curacao and Barbados.
- Coordinating the month-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial administration.
- Overseeing and coordinating both year-end external and internal audits, ensuring compliance and thoroughness.
- Supervising fieldwork and daily operations, providing guidance and support to ensure organizational efficiency.
- Optimizing workflows and processes to enhance productivity and streamline operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial control, auditing, and reconciliations.
- Proficient in English, Papiamento and Dutch.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- A high level of IT literacy.
- Flexible and energetic approach that inspires other team members.
