Job Description
As the IT Specialist, you’ll manage, maintain, and enhance the IT systems and infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for leading projects from start to finish, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless operations across all departments.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide timely and effective support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures, regularly update systems, and train staff on security protocols.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to security, connectivity, and system integrity.
- Responsible for system and network management.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Disaster Recovery Plan.
- Manage and maintain SQL Server and databases, generating reports.
- Maintain and develop in-house programs.
- Oversee data backups, system updates, and security patches to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
- Work with other departments to identify and address tech needs.
- Implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct regular system audits and generate reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified Professional, and 3CX certifications are a plus.
- 5+ years’ experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Strong expertise in network administration, cybersecurity, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with integrated resort systems.
- Fluency in English, Spanish, Dutch, and Papiamento.
- Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends.
