Security Chief

For one of our clients, we are seeking Security Chief, who will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure and efficient environment by overseeing operational standards, coordinating training, and managing emergency protocols.

Job Description

The Security Chief is responsible for enforcing quality and safety standards, acting as a liaison between the administrator and national law enforcement to ensure a secure and pleasant environment for residents, visitors, suppliers, contractors, and employees.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide direct instruction to supervisors to ensure effective performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety and prevent accidents.
  • Coordinate and deliver training on contingency management to improve team performance.
  • Lead courses on investigations, crime prevention, and industrial safety to enhance knowledge and support staff growth.
  • Ensure properties are equipped according to fire protection protocols, signage, brigades, and evacuation routes, meeting safety standards.
  • Develop annual work plans, including objectives, resources, and budgets, to continuously improve security measures.
  • Conduct investigations and interviews with individuals involved in potential rule violations to determine accountability.
  • Contact police or fire departments in serious accidents to expedite response.
  • Attend department head meetings to communicate and resolve issues, ensuring safe and quality services.
  • Manage and control allocated budgets to optimize material resources and maintain department operations.
  • Support security department activities to maintain performance and efficiency.
  • Comply with company security protocols, record-keeping, and established work standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s work and thinking level with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Specialized knowledge in security.
  • Strong understanding of security protocols and standards.
  • Expertise in firefighting, first aid, and safety regulations, with the ability to deliver training courses.
  • Demonstrated initiative, responsibility, commitment, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team.
  • Good physical health and fitness.
  • Proficiency in basic computer programs for creating forms and reports.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
