Job Description
As the HR Manager at Eduardo’s, you play a pivotal role in fostering a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented workplace environment. You are responsible for leading all human resources initiatives, ensuring that the workforce is motivated, engaged, and empowered to contribute to the strategic goals.
The HR Manager:
- Develops and implements recruitment strategies to attract top talent, conducts interviews, assesses candidates and oversees the onboarding process.
- Identifies training needs and designs programs to encourage career growth, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Builds and fosters strong communication with staff by visiting Eduardo’s locations regularly, implements initiatives to enhance employee engagement and conducts regular feedback sessions to address concerns effectively.
- Develops and manages employee recognition programs and performance appraisal processes.
- Ensures compliance with labor laws, regulations and company policies.
- Manages all relevant HR-administration portals, including DPL, SVB and DVG.
- Provides guidance to managers and employees on conflict resolution strategies, promoting open communication.
- Develops initiatives that allow employees to engage with local communities.
- Is responsible for accurate payroll management: maintaining the payroll system, ensuring up to date payroll information, sick leave management and incentives/benefits administration.
- Regularly updates and upholds all HR policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR roles, proven leadership experience, and with a focus on talent acquisition, employee development, employee conflict, and engagement.
- A high level of accuracy and experience using HR systems and following processes.
- Strong knowledge of disciplinary procedures, local employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Experience with payroll processing.
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, decision making, and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with strong ethics, tact and professionalism.
- Enthusiasm and willingness to promote Eduardo’s brand.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and knowledgeable in Spanish, Dutch, and Papiamento.
