Job Description

The Commercial Marketing Lead is responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and optimization of revenue-driven digital marketing initiatives to increase bookings, brand visibility, and customer engagement. This role manages the marketing team and partners closely with Sales, Revenue Management, Operations, and Leadership to drive commercial growth and strengthen market leadership within Aruba’s tourism sector.

  • Develop, execute, and optimize performance marketing campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, SEO, email marketing, and social media.
  • Monitor campaign performance and implement data-driven strategies to maximize ROI, conversions, and engagement.
  • Partner with Revenue Management and booking platform stakeholders to develop dashboards tracking ROI, conversion rates, and revenue performance.
  • Lead content strategy and creation, including social media, video, blogs, and user-generated content (UGC).
  • Manage content calendars aligned with seasonal demand, booking cycles, and market opportunities.
  • Oversee the marketing budget to ensure efficient spend and strong commercial results.
  • Prepare and present monthly performance and campaign reports to leadership.
  • Drive innovation through AI-powered marketing, automation, personalization, and advanced analytics.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all channels.
  • Support PR initiatives, influencer partnerships, and social engagement to strengthen brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with Operations to align the customer experience with brand standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
  • Work cross-functionally with leadership to align marketing strategy with business objectives.
  • Stay current on tourism trends, digital marketing innovations, and travel industry best practices.
  • Represent the company at relevant industry events and conferences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing, executing, and optimizing digital marketing strategies and performance-driven campaigns.
  • Strong proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO tools, email marketing platforms, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across departments and stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Spanish, and Papiamento.
  • Proven ability to work independently while maintaining a proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Creative thinker with a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrates initiative, adaptability, accountability, and a strong results-driven approach.
  • Experience within the tourism, hospitality, travel, or related industry is an advantage.
