Sales Manager

Job Description

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sustainable and profitable revenue growth by developing and executing the organization’s commercial strategy. The role focuses on expanding the customer base, strengthening strategic customer and partner relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and maximizing opportunities across products, services, and recurring revenue streams. Working closely with Marketing and senior leadership, the Sales Manager translates strategic objectives into measurable commercial results, supports long-term customer retention, and strengthens the organization’s market position through business development, key account management, and market expansion.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies that support the organization’s growth and profitability objectives.
  • Lead business development initiatives by identifying and pursuing new customers, markets, and revenue opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify commercial opportunities and inform strategy.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to drive sustainable business growth.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and secure profitable business opportunities.
  • Build and strengthen strategic relationships with key customers, partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Establish sales targets and use CRM data and performance insights to monitor results, forecast revenue, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and internal teams to align lead generation, customer solutions, and service delivery with commercial objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent through education and/or relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of successful experience in sales, business development, or commercial leadership roles within a technical, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue and profitability growth.
  • Experience managing key accounts, dealer/distributor networks, commercial customers, and strategic partnerships.
  • Experience in prospecting, acquisition, and business development.
  • Experience working with manufacturers, suppliers, channel partners, or multi-site customer organizations.
  • Ability to identify commercial opportunities and convert them into tangible business results.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and data-driven sales management.
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Ability to understand, communicate, and position technical products and services effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends, customer insights, and sales data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills across multiple organizational levels.
