We are looking for a hands-on and driven Technical Operations Manager to oversee our daily operations across Electrical Services, Solar Installations, and Sales. In this role, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while leading and developing a multidisciplinary team.
Combining technical expertise with strong leadership skills, you will coordinate people, projects, and processes, continuously identify opportunities for improvement, and help deliver outstanding service to our customers. You are solution-oriented, decisive, and motivated to drive operational excellence in a dynamic and growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the daily operations of the Sales, Solar Installations, and Electrical Services teams, ensuring efficient execution of projects and service activities.
- Plan, oversee, and monitor projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.
- Foster effective collaboration and communication between departments to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze operational workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement practical, sustainable process improvements.
- Investigate operational challenges, identify root causes, and develop effective long-term solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, quality, safety, and service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and independently manage commercial opportunities from initial contact through successful project completion.
- Translate customer needs into practical commercial and technical solutions in collaboration with internal teams.
- Lead, coach, motivate, and develop team members while promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor operational performance using relevant KPIs and take timely action to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (HBO level) or equivalent work and thinking level.
- Background in Electrical Engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
- Proven experience in leading operational teams within a technical or project-based environment.
- Experience coordinating technical projects and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement practical solutions.
- Experience with process optimization and continuous improvement.
- Commercially minded with the ability to build strong customer relationships and identify business opportunities.
- Hands-on, decisive, and results-oriented with excellent leadership and coaching skills.
- Strong organizational, planning, and communication abilities.
- Excellent command of Papiamento, Dutch, and English.
- Spanish is considered an advantage.
