About this job

As a Manager Tax Advisory, you will take responsibility for a diverse client portfolio in Aruba, combining hands-on tax expertise with team leadership and client management. You will advise on complex tax matters, oversee the quality and progress of assignments, develop team members, and contribute to the continued growth of the tax practice.
  • Take ownership of a portfolio of local and international tax clients, overseeing both advisory and compliance assignments from planning through completion.
  • Provide practical tax advice on complex business matters, transactions, tax risks and changes in applicable legislation.
  • Review tax returns, provisions and other technical deliverables, ensuring accuracy and consistency with professional standards.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, understanding their business needs and identifying opportunities for additional support.
  • Guide and develop tax professionals within the team through coaching, technical review and day-to-day leadership.
  • Oversee the commercial and operational aspects of assignments, including planning, budgets, deadlines and overall engagement performance.
  • Monitor relevant local and international tax developments and assess their implications for clients.
  • Work closely with colleagues across different disciplines to address broader client needs and deliver coordinated solutions.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Tax Law, Fiscal Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate tax compliance and tax advisory services.
  • Proven track record in project management and team leadership within professional services.
  • Deep understanding of local and international tax frameworks.
  • Professional tax qualification (or working toward completion) preferred.
  • Full proficiency in English and Dutch; knowledge of Papiamento is a plus.
