About this job

The Business IT Specialist will help shape the future of the company’s digital insurance platform by translating business and customer needs into efficient technological solutions. From process automation and platform configuration to integration and testing, the Business IT Specialist ensures everything runs smoothly.
  • Translate customer and business needs into practical platform features.
  • Configure and manage business rules, products, workflows and system settings.
  • Test new features and monitor platform quality and performance.
  • Prepare project plans and coordinate implementations with internal teams and external consultants.
  • Ensure timely delivery and a smooth digital experience for clients, colleagues and business partners.
  • Bachelor-level thinking and working ability, gained through education and/or relevant practical experience.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working with IT systems or applications.
  • An analytical and curious mindset, with the ability to quickly understand new technologies and systems.
  • You communicate easily with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You are fluent in Papiamento, Dutch and English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Experience with low-code platforms is a plus, but your ability to learn and enthusiasm for technology are just as important.
  • You enjoy problem-solving, testing and finding creative solutions.
  • You are proactive, take responsibility and work well as part of a team.
